User Magic on Shapeways created 3d-printed flexible bracelets based on textile structures.
The knitwork inspired bracelet is made of several closed loops (one for each course) interlocking to form a stockinette-stitch-like structure.
A lot of beautiful photos of the bracelet can be found in Magic's post on shapeways
Magic's other design is based on the Scoubidou technique used for creating friendship bracelets. By intermeshing two strands in what is known as the Square Knot he obtains a highly flexible object.
